Project 5
This was the most fun project yet in my opinion. For this project, i wanted a low-pitched, deep sound. It wasn't meant to be too fast, and I wanted to keep it slow, which I did. I started by opening Poizone and making a sound that would be in the background for the whole song. For this sound, I didn't really mess with oscillator A, but in oscillator B, I turned the pitch all the way down. I also turned the transgate all the way up. I next added a very simple drum beat to open the song. It was just bass kicks on every other first beat. I added another drum loop after that which kept the same kick pattern, but added four notes of both high-hat and snare. Then came my second sound, which is identical to the first, but i made a pattern out of it, and changed the pitch of some of the notes. After that, i made a third drum beat, which was just a kick-snare pattern. I made an ADDITIONAL beat after that, with the kick on every first and a lot of high-hat and snare again. Following this, i made a third sound, which had the balance oscillator 3/4's of the way up, and the pitch all the way down. I made the chorus and the transgate very saturated. This sound was merely a transition. I created a final sound, which had very low pitch, high balance, high cutoff, and an up/down pattern at 1/16 beats. I made the volume fade out at the end. That's all of it. I hope you enjoy it.

Project 4
Starting off, I made a guitar loop using slayer and the distant rhythm sound. I used the 3 chop tool. After that, i created a drum beat. consisting of high-hat on every other one and three, and kick and snare on every other one. I also added another high-hat sound to it. After that,i put the cut off frequency on the slayer part. Lastly, i added BP String with 3X osc, and made a very simple pattern with that. I added an automation clip to this part, too.I wanted this to be subtle, but noticeable. I almost forgot, i added a drum fill in the middle, with a lot of kick/snare with a little high-hat. I combined it with my other drum pattern for a fill i liked. Enjoy!

Project 3
For project 3, I started by adding the velocity sound. After adding the sound, I used the cut tool in the SimSynth. I used the "Dreams" chop pattern. I next added the drum beat. The bass is on the 1 and the snare is on every other first note. Lastly, I added some high-hat hits to the beat. After doing this, I played around with the cut tool and found a pattern with it that I liked. I also added a small drum fill, which was a simple kick-snare pattern. To finish the project, I faded out the master volume. Enjoy!

Project 2
I started out by making the guitar rhythm. I used the "slayer" guitar tool, and used the 'metal' sound. After experimenting with different note, I used the chop tool. I had to try out a few different patterns until I got the one I wanted. After that, I added the bass-line, which was the same as the guitar but a lower key. I used Boobass for this. Finally, I made the drum beat. I made the drums last because I wanted them to match the guitar, not vice-versa. For the drums, I used a lot of the crash cymbal and snare. After doing this, I transposed the guitar and bass up a few notes for the second half of the loop. It's pretty short, but I like the way it turned out, and I like the ending. Enjoy!

Project 1
This is my first drum beat. I tried to keep it pretty basic. I like to use many different instruments while using a real drum kit, so I tried to do the same with this beat. I like the use of toms and the use of quite cymbal sounds. What I had the most fun with was the fill. Fills are anything you make them, and they can be really busy or simple, and I like to have the option. The A and the B are sort of similar because I wanted the same sounds throughout the whole loop. Enjoy my first track!
